I purchased a $588 emerald and diamond bracelet from Overstock.com ® . The emerals were, in my opinion ugly and dull. One emerald was missing, so I returned it well within the return policy. When I had not received a refund within a couple of weeks I called Overstock.com ® and the customer service person told me a refund requires 7-10 days. That was almost a month ago. Their website indicates that it is too late to return this product even though the customer service department assured me that it was received in time. I checked the DHL tracking number and verified that they had received it before the 20 day grace period. I am still awaiting a refund a month later. There is no answer on their corporate phone or on their toll free number. Has Overstock.com ® gone out of business, committed fraud, or what? They seem to still be selling.

GUARANTEES
Be careful when ordering a product with a money back guarantee. Some guarantees do not include a refund of shipping and handling. While this can be reasonable, companies have charged as much as $75 for shipping and handling of products which cost only a few dollars to ship. This way they make a nice profit even if you return the product. If you have had this problem please mail copies of your invoice, the guarantee, and other relevant information to us.
